Orange Guard Home Pest Control is an all natural food grade insecticide with the active ingredient of orange peel oil (d-Limonene 5.8%). It’s a contact insecticide and residual repellent and may be used around food, humans and pets. It kills and repels hidden bugs including ants, roaches, fleas, palmettos and silverfish. Orange Guard is water based and all the ingredients are on the FDA GRAS list (Generally Regarded As Safe). Orange Guard is also OMRI listed (Organic Material Review Institute) as allowed for use in organic production.

d-Limonene is exempt from the FQPA (Food Quality Protection Act) as an insecticide in kitchen and pantries.

TO USE:
Indoor Use: Spray insect(s) directly on stream setting to kill. Wait 3 minutes and then wipe up excess with a warm damp cloth. For lasting repellence, spray into cracks and crevices then wipe up excess.

Outdoor Use: Spray perimeter of home generously to make a barrier of protection. Spray doorways, window frames, cracks that separates the stucco/siding - anywhere an insect can enter. Saturate until visibly wet. Saturate areas of trail or nests. Spray garbage cans, manure piles or any infested areas until visibly wet.

    It works on Palmettos!

Posted by Bess on 20th Oct 2025

I live near palm trees, in a big city. Occasionally, one gets inside. They're big. Ugh. I'm squeamish. I didn't like using chemicals in my home and started looking for a natural solution. So glad I found this! I need to use more than with chemical spray, and it takes a little longer, but I soak 'em and they end up doa. Then I just scoop them up with my ratchet and grabbit and a large wad of toilet paper and flush them down the toilet, gone forever (it's a process). I started with the spray bottles, but now I order the gallon to refill the spray bottles. This is my go-to product. I bought myself a little funnel and it's easy peasy. I also spray around the edges of my kitchen to repel, which has been very effective, and clean my kitchen with orange oil. This has been great at repelling and also ending them. And it has a nice light scent that works just fine in the kitchen. The spray nozzle is great. One side for squirt, which has accurate aim, and the other for spray. No offensive smell, no chemicals! I use it everywhere but mostly the kitchen. I started with the individual spray bottles. But now I order the gallon and keep the spray bottles to refill. I use it all the time. Thank you for this product!

Swift shipping, excellent product, safe for indoors, safe for pets and in the kitchen. I feel valued as a client to have a product like this. I ordered a gallon and it came quick and with an additional empty spray bottle for ease of use. The spray works by covering the insects spiracles. It's a natural deterrent. I will continue to purchase thrborsngr guard product and stand by their name 100%. It has a pleasant fragrance, and does not give me a headache when I spray around the house.

I've been using Orange Guard for years. I recently went to Amazon to buy more and Amazon indicated they couldn't ship to my house in California. I was very unhappy. I started researching why Amazon couldn't or wouldn't ship Orange Guard my house and realized I could order directly from the manufacturer. I was happy again. Orange Guard really works for a lots of pest control is non-toxic and smells pretty good. Try it you won't regret it.

Just ordered the one gallon refill. We love Orange Guard! Very effective against all kinds of bugs. We have sensitivities to cleaning products and Orange Guard has never caused any reactions. It's safe to spray in the kitchen, AND it smells wonderful.

    Orange Guard

I just love this product, this company, and the director, who is also the clever individual who developed the product. Orange Guard stops ants instantly, has a fresh, pleasing, natural orange fragrance, and is easy to wipe up with a wet rag. It appears to not harm any of our surfaces. We live in a rural environment where ant colonies abound--and apparently our house is situated on top of several! OrangeGuard is indespensible for us, especially since we don't ever want to use chemicals/pesticides of any kind. Thank you to the developer/director, who is also a kind, helpful, and friendly human being-- Gina in Northern California

    Great Product!

I started having a problem with ticks, inside of my chicken coops. I have been spraying the ticks and inside of the coops, with Orange Guard. It kills the ticks, when I spray them directly and seems to be helping to keep them away. It's safe for my chickens. As a bonus, skunks don't like the smell and stay away from my chickens.
